It's Thanksgiving weekend here in the frozen north. Although we're not frozen yet, we are having our first snowfall. And, it's a little too soon for my liking. I know snow is pretty enough if you're watching it from the inside out. But it's a little chilly if you reverse that look. I don't think my crows are too thrilled. Although I did tell the crazy little murder of three that they should head south now. All the rest headed south weeks ago. I'm not sure what this group is about. Maybe they like snow?
Shrug.
I don't know about you but if I had wings to fly me as far south as I wanted to go - and no baggage at all, well... I'm not sure if there's much of a choice. I hear Panama is a cool place to see and Argentina might be up for a tourist or two. There's a ton of places down there that I've never seen.
Yep it's all about the weather on the prairies - again! Today is the first snow day of the upcoming winter. Pre-Halloween, pre-fall clean up, pretty much pre everything. The birds were out early before the snow. Obviously they have better forecasting methods than do I. Although I must say, today I didn't go outside. Instead, today I worked on my heroine's current dilemma, a killer who may have her in his sights while her vision is impaired by the man she seems to be falling for.
Here's today's view. The snow spun into action about 01300 hours and is still going strong.
