  6. Good morning from Italy :)
Melissa, you talked about an amazing travel.
I never did a travel like these, only a 7/10 days travel; however, I perfectly agree with you: the real essence of the travel, more than the places you visit, is people you meet and people which share this nice experience with you.

Thanks for the chance in this giveaway.

PS: Siena is written with only one "s" ;)

    Cheers.

    Eva.

Sorry for the typos. I asked my hubby to read it for me, but I should have done a final reread :-)

  9. Hi, Melissa-

I did the same thing when I was 21, but I took along my 11 year old sister and 13 year old brother. My parents got a lot of flak for that, but they knew what their kids were capable of (we, too, had the emergency credit card).

Aside from a few tense moments between us and a few problems (hurt back, left kid's backpack on bus (luckily empty), we had a great time. We probably should have slowed down a little bit too, but who knew if we'd have the opportunity again (we have, but separately).

I'd recommend the backpack/eurail pass way of traveling for anyone, even older folks, and we met some.

  11. Anne - wow! That's great you got to take your siblings. Fun, but I could see some stress given some of the things we ran into. But what memories you all must have! Loved the way the eurail pass worked. Definitely the way to go!

hotcha12 - Thanks so much. Glad you stopped by!
