The Exercise Ball

Yesterday, with some trepidation I acquired an exercise ball. What is that rule?

If it seems to easy, it is too easy.

Well, what could be easier than sitting on a ball, writing and getting core strength all at the same time. I know, I know - too easy. Or maybe you're asking what's core strength. I won't get into it in this post - a google of exercise balls will tell you everything you ever wanted to know. In the meantime, my office now has what looks like a giant beach ball.
Surprisingly, other than feeling rather silly, it's fairly comfortable. What it will do - if it doesn't deflate first, time will tell.

  1. A little strength for your back too! Well done! What does the four legged furry friend have to "say" about it?

  2. He's scared silly - it's bigger than him!

  3. Ha! I have thought about getting one of those for my office, but I can almost guarantee that I will fall off, or roll over backwards, or otherwise misjudge and wipeout, at least once a week. I'm sure my co-workers would get a kick out of it and would probably place bets and such, but I think I'll pass for now. The potential for disaster is too great.

  4. It's amazingly easy DG you forget you're sitting on a ball rather than a chair but I'm sure your dogs would like it as much as mine - not at all.

  5. LOL!! I bought one a few months back for that same reason. I love it! So far, I haven't rolled off, so that must be a good thing. As for the core muscles, I think it's helped, although I can't be sure. I do a little dancing on the side, so I'm sure that's helped, too.

  6. Hey there! The new opening shtick looks good! I like the green. I was a bit confused about where the blog site was at first, but I found it!
You should change your intro to a rhyming couplet of sorts:
New friends are magic and old friends are gold:
Welcome friends both "new and old". See? Gold and Old rhyme!
